Your email password remains secure and private.
We do not, in any way, have access to your email password throughout its use in VESmail.
When you enter your password into Account Manager, it is sent directly to the local VESmail app on your device and then to your email server for verification.
It is also stored in your VESvault repository in an encrypted form to be recalled for future email use between your local VESmail app and email server,
the encryption keys never leave your devices.
Your encryption is set to AUTO. This means emails sent to:
- VESmail users will be encrypted
- non-VESmail users and INACTIVE VESmail users will NOT be encrypted
You can change your encryption settings by selecting the Advanced >
option under the VESmail Connection & Encryption
